Plans, credits and add-ons
The plan sets how many missionaries you can add and how many AI and voice credits you get each month. Add-ons switch on extra venues and giving. The pricing page has the same figures.

- Every plan includes the whole gallery: kiosks, the walk in the realistic hall, the list, the map and the World Tour, narration, news and facts, announcements, restricted kiosks, two-step sign-in, and the embed snippet and WordPress plugin.
- On the trial, Starter and Growing, you can't add more missionaries than the plan allows. Upgrade to add more.
- On the Church plan, each missionary beyond 200 adds its share of your hosting, AI and voice usage at our published rates, plus 20%.
- Connecting your own web address needs a paid plan.
- The trial includes everything in the Church plan, with Our building limited to 5 spots.
Add-ons #
Add-ons are monthly and prorated. Some are included in a plan.

- Self-hosted galleries include every add-on. The free trial includes every add-on except the 3D scan, with Our building limited to 5 spots.
- Our building and scan views beyond the monthly amount cost about $4.30 and $6.50 per extra 1,000.
- Planned Add-ons can't be turned on from the admin yet, and the building venues have no upload screens yet. See Venues and capture.
- Built-in giving, where givers give right in the gallery, is a later phase. Today, giving links to your church's existing giving page. See How giving works.
Credits #
Credits pay for the AI helper (reading letters, designing kiosks, news and facts) and the human voice, when your church uses Missionary Lane credits. One credit is one cent of AI or voice work at Missionary Lane’s published rates, based on vendors’ list prices, plus 20%. A plan's credits renew each calendar month and don't roll over; the trial's 200 are given once. If you use your own keys, your AI or voice service bills you directly and no credits are used.

Admins see the last 30 days in Settings → AI & voice usage: what was done, with which service, how much, and the credits left. Work done with your own keys is listed but doesn't use credits.
Uploaded video Planned #
The pricing page lists monthly allowances for video uploaded to Missionary Lane: 60, 150 and 400 stored minutes and 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 minutes watched on Starter, Growing and Church, then $0.006 per stored minute a month and $1.20 per 1,000 minutes watched. That streaming service isn't switched on yet; today MP4 uploads of up to 50 MB are stored with the kiosk. YouTube and Vimeo links are always free.
Pay as you go and the monthly limit #
- On a paid plan, AI and voice work beyond your credits, extra views and extra missionaries are billed at our published rates, based on vendors’ list prices, plus 20%, on your next invoice, with a line for each kind of use.
- The rates are not our actual cost. They follow each vendor’s list price and apply to all of your use, including use that our own plan with a vendor covers. Some use is estimated: gallery traffic, for example, is the number of gallery, kiosk and tour visits times a typical size per visit.
- These pay-as-you-go charges stop at a monthly limit, which starts at $25.
- At the limit, AI and voice work paid with Missionary Lane credits pauses and the walk switches to the virtual hall until the next month. The gallery keeps working.
- The trial has no pay-as-you-go. When its credits run out, the AI helper and voice stop until you choose a plan or use your own keys.
Billing #
Only owners see Billing in the top bar. It shows your plan, its status, the days left in the trial, the renewal date, the credits left and how many missionaries you have.
- Choose next to a plan opens a secure checkout page.
- Manage payment & invoices changes the card, shows invoices, and changes or cancels the plan.
- If a payment fails, admins and owners see a notice on the Missionaries page. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the church was first marked past due, the gallery is paused: visitors see “This gallery is paused”, nothing is deleted, and owners can still sign in to fix the payment. The gallery reopens when the payment goes through.
- When a trial ends without a plan, or a subscription is cancelled, the gallery is paused and everything is kept for 90 days. After that the church and its files are deleted. An owner can download all of the church’s data first (Legal and your data).
Using your own AI and voice keys #
In Settings → AI and voice keys, choose Use our own keys or Use Missionary Lane credits. The change is saved straight away. A self-hosted gallery always uses its own keys.
- In Settings → AI helper, choose the AI service: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, or an OpenAI-compatible service (for example Groq, Together, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM or LiteLLM).
- Sign up with that service and paste its key. Some services also ask for a model, an endpoint or a deployment name.
- Press Save AI settings. The status at the top says Key saved when it's ready.
- Do the same for the voice in Settings → Human voice narration: ElevenLabs, OpenAI, an OpenAI-compatible service, Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, Azure AI Speech or Amazon Polly.
- A saved key is never shown again. To change it, paste a new one. If you switch services, paste the new service's key too.
- Without an AI key, the AI buttons don't work. Without a voice key, kiosks use the visitor's built-in voice.
