For churches
Web addresses
Every hosted gallery has a missionarylane.org address, which you choose when you create the church, such as gracechurch.missionarylane.org. It always keeps working. On a paid plan you can also connect your church's own address, such as missions.yourchurch.org.
Connect your own address #
Admins and owners do this in Settings → Web address.
- Type the address only, without
https://. A part of your website, likemissions.yourchurch.org, is easiest. - Press Connect. A table shows one or more DNS records.
- Add those records where your church's domain is managed, for example GoDaddy, Squarespace, Cloudflare or Google Domains. Your website company can help.
- Come back and press Check again. It can take up to a day to work.
- Once it says connected, press Make main address if you want it to be the address you share.
- Addresses waiting for their DNS records show Waiting for DNS.
- The main address is the one shown in Share it, with the QR code and the embed code.
- Remove disconnects your own address. Your missionarylane.org address keeps working.
- Connecting your own address needs a paid plan; it isn't available during the trial.

Hosted churches sign in at app.missionarylane.org, whatever their gallery's address.
Self-hosted galleries #
A self-hosted gallery's address is the one the desktop app published it to, and the admin is at that address followed by /admin.html. To move the gallery to another host, open the desktop app and choose Change hosting on the gallery's card. See the desktop app.
